What about the game?
Straight of the bat, this is one of those games that has become expensive over the last few years, my game was bought as a present for my birthday a few years back , for £85 which I thought even then it was expensive. Its quirky for sure but nowadays its way out of reach of the common collector commanding about £200, in the UK at least, according to Gameye its around £500 in the US.
It’s one of the reasons I just like to do these videos of games plucked from my collection, play them and discover what they are about and what makes them special, or just not worth the money.
Chibi-Robo sees you control a little tiny robot who’s purpose is to keep the Sanderson’s happy, the game is very unique in terms of graphics, they are good but have a certain style to them, coupled with the strange music, speech and sound effects do make this an intriguing game.
I find myself to compelled to play this game through, it has a few interesting places that need to be explored and some truly strange characters, that coupled with the fact there are few upgrades to Chibi-Robo that need to be experienced.
